Pure Essential Oils
Each Moon Phase and Planet has a’ liking to oils and fragrances . I base my choice for fragrance on Planetary Alignment, Season and Mood. Sometimes your house just has to smell like marshmallows.
Herbs & Spices
I try to source locally for herbs and spices. AND SHOUT OUT TO MY LADIES who grow at home and pass on the bundle of herbaceous love.- THANK YOU. Your herbs are used with love in these Melts.
Flowers
Sometimes you’ll catch some rose petals from my personal garden, but mostly I try to source as locally as possible. Sometimes I run out of cinnamon and borrow a dash from my home stash. You never know.
Sweet Almond Oil
Is it the numerous benefits for the skin such as deep moisturizing, improved complexion, anti-aging effects and soothing properties? OR is it because I am obsessed with those Rainbow Almond Italian from the Patisseria. You may never know. It’s my fizzy biz.
Mica Powder Colorant & Biodegradable Glitter
Well didn’t I have to learn the hard way that water-soluble dyes are not UV Ray protected. #augustvending90degrees SO now I am a wise owl and embrace Mica’s radiant powders. AND WE GOTS TO HAVE GLITTER… but safely, safely for our bodies and also for our pipes. SO I found a killah’ Biodegradable ECO Glitter that gives you the SHABANG! but not the rash. WIN!
Emulsifiers
Yes. I use emulsifiers such as Polysorbate 80 (approved by the FDA and non-toxic, disperses Colorants and Oils, Enhances Skin-benefiting oil dispersion) and Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (is a gentle, sulfate-free surfactant derived from natural sources such as coconut or palm oils-suitable for sensitive skin). Yes I do care about not staining your bathtub neon yellow and yes I care that your bubble DO NOT STOP BUBBLIN’.
