How do you use a shower melt?
Let’s be honest—most of us don’t have time to sink into a long, luxurious bath. (Well… unless you’re a true bath lover like me—then good luck getting us out of the water.) But showers? They’re quick, efficient, and perfect for our on-the-go lives.
That’s where the shower melt comes in. Simply start your shower, place the melt in the corner away from the direct stream, and sprinkle a little water to awaken the fizz. As it bubbles, the essential oils release their magic—herbaceous, floral, fruity, or sweet aromas filling the steam.
What was once just another shower suddenly becomes a small ritual of joy—a daily moment to reset, refresh, and breathe in happiness
How do you use a Bath Melt or Bath Bomb?
For those lucky enough to have a bathtub to slip into and simply be, wait until it’s full before adding your bath melt. Then, let the colors swirl, the essential oils infuse, and the gentle fizz work its magic.
Why use a bath or shower melt?
A hot bath is more than just a soak—it’s a full-body reset. The warmth eases tired muscles, melts away stress, and signals your mind that it’s safe to let go. Surrounded by soothing scents and gentle fizz, the water becomes a sanctuary where you can pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. Treating yourself to a bath isn’t a luxury—it’s a ritual of self-care, a reminder that you deserve moments of pure rest and renewal.
And a hot shower is more than warmth and water—it is an ancient ritual of renewal. As you stand beneath the stream, you step into a vessel of transformation, where steam becomes breath, and water becomes a mirror of the cosmos. The heat softens the body, the essential oils awaken the spirit, and the colors dance like starlight across the surface. To treat yourself to a shower melt is to honor both body and soul—to align with the celestial currents that whisper: you are worthy of rest, you are worthy of magic, you are worthy of care.
Tell me more about foot baths ?
In many traditions, the feet are seen as powerful channels of energy—absorbing, storing, and releasing what flows through us. They connect us to the earth, carrying both our weight and our spirit. When we soak or tend to our feet, we’re not just easing tension; we’re releasing stagnant energy, recharging our body’s flow, and grounding ourselves in balance.
My friend Nicole swears by foot baths—she’s completely obsessed—and she inspired me to start treating myself to them too. Now, it’s become one of my favorite little rituals: soaking my feet in warm, fragrant water while I knit. It’s simple, soothing, and feels like a spell of comfort—grounding me, releasing the day’s energy, and turning an ordinary moment into pure magic.
Will the color stain my Shower/ Bathtub?
We add a touch of Polysorbate 80 as an emulsifier to help the shimmery mica blend with the water so it swirls beautifully and rinses away with ease. Giving your tub or shower a regular wipe-down will also keep things sparkling and prevent any mica from sticking to leftover soap or residue.
Why do I make Bath & Shower Melts with Planetary intentions?
I work with planetary magic because I believe timing holds power. Just as the moon pulls the tides, the planets shape the unseen currents of our lives. By creating my melts in rhythm with these celestial movements, I’m not just mixing oils, salts, and butters — I’m weaving intention into matter. (#knitting)
Each planet holds a frequency: Venus softens the heart and draws beauty, Mars sparks courage and vitality, Saturn steadies and grounds. When I craft under their influence, I’m aligning the recipe with that vibration, so the melt becomes more than a sensory delight — it’s a vessel of energy.
This practice transforms self-care into ritual. A bath or shower isn’t only cleansing the body; it’s an act of tuning into cosmic cycles, harmonizing the personal with the planetary. My melts carry this charge, so when they fizz and dissolve, they’re releasing more than fragrance — they’re releasing intention.
